Xiamen Pioneer Technology Co., Ltd., located at Xiamen Pioneering Park for Overseas Chinese Scholars, is one of the leading manufacturers of Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (phase-transfer catalysts & ionic surfactants) in China. It was founded by Xiaoping Zhou, a post-doctor graduated from University of Carlifornia, and his partners in 1990s. Thanks to our considerable efforts devoted to the long-time research, we have been awarded two Chinese innovational patents. We are always focusing on producton of highly purified products and the development of special chemicals according to the custmers’ requiremnets. We are making great efforts so as to achieve a leading Hi-Tech Enterprise in the related chemical fields.

        Dr. Xiaoping Zhou is currently the consultant of Xiamen Pioneer technologies Inc. and the Professor of Chemical Engineering at Hunan University. He earned his first Ph. D. from Xiamen University in 1993 and the second one from the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2000. He once worked at Symyx Technologies Inc. (USA) and GRT Inc. (USA) for new technology development in chemistry. He and his students are currently working in areas: a) combinatorial catalysis chemistry, b) natural gas conversion to prepare higher hydrocarbons, c) photodegradation of organic pollutants, and d) synthesis of fine chemicals. Based on his research work, he obtained more than 62 patents world widely and authored more than 100 papers in international journals.
